Yankee Alliance announces a new contract with Propper Manufacturing Company to provide Seracult fecal occult blood testing products (FOBT) to its members. Seracult FOBT is a recognized, high-quality product with a 30 year track record aiding in the early diagnosis of colorectal cancer (CRC). They offer a variety of configurations to service all FOBT test settings, including Seracult Plus®, used for patients with an increased risk for CRC due to family history or other risk factors.
“The Propper team is energized by the forming of this strategic relationship and is looking forward to supporting the Yankee Alliance membership in their efforts to improve public health," said Joe Looney, President & CEO of Propper Manufacturing Company. Population screening for colorectal cancer is a quality metric put forth by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Pioneer ACO Model, as well as the Department of Health and Human Services, and Seracult has a proven history as a diagnostic aid for CRC.
