TransMotion Medical provides Yankee Alliance members One Patient, One Surface™ Solution

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – May 21, 2013; Andover, MA

Yankee Alliance announces a new three year contract with TransMotion Medical of Sharon Center, OH for Motorized Procedural Stretcher-Chairs. The product uses the flexibility of a chair to treat patients in a sitting, reclined or supine position. Since patient handling is greatly reduced, both patient and staff benefit from the use of the TransMotion Medical units. The benefits are: reducing patient falls and staff injuries, smaller foot print required to treat patients, greater throughput of patients, and reduction in the need for other products such as recliners, stretchers, and wheel chairs.

“We are excited to partner with Yankee Alliance. We look forward to working with them in providing a treatment/transport solution for their hospital, surgery and imaging center members,” said Ryan Yerkey, President of TransMotion Medical.

“There is a major focus on asset utilization within our member facilities – doing more with less. The TransMotion Medical agreement will give them one stop solution for their Surgery Center, Imaging and Emergency Departments,” said Craig Shoukimas, Vice President of Contracting at Yankee Alliance.
