Wayne Memorial Hospital joins Yankee Alliance membership

Yankee Alliance Welcomes New Member

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – April 10, 2013; Andover, MA

Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, PA is the newest member to join Yankee Alliance, gaining access to the combined purchasing power of over 12,800 members.

Cathy Spinney, Chief Customer Officer, Yankee Alliance said, “I am thrilled that Wayne Memorial has joined our organization.  We have already begun collaborating with them to reduce their operating expense and we look forward to helping improve their supply chain management operations.”

Reducing supply costs is a high priority for Wayne Memorial and the choice to join Yankee Alliance affirms their commitment to reducing supply chain expenses while maintaining clinical quality. Lorie Smith, Materials Manager, Wayne Memorial said “Identifying savings is paramount for our system. Our Yankee Alliance membership offers us aggregation power, contracting strategies, utilization strategies and savings tools to help us meet our goals of cost reduction.”
