FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – November 13, 2024; Andover, MA, - Yankee Alliance held its 36th Annual Conference on October 22-24 at the Newport Harbor Island Resort in Newport, Rhode Island.
This year’s event also commemorated Yankee Alliance’s 40th year in business and was attended by a large number of member hospitals, industry leaders, and supplier business partners. The conference served as an opportunity to bring member hospitals together to learn about healthcare trends and best practices, attend educational sessions, and connect with each other through networking.
The event featured a special awards ceremony, where Yankee Alliance recognized top performing members and suppliers for their exceptional achievements and commitment in reducing supply chain costs, performance excellence through leadership, and engagement with other members.

The Savings Awards recognize the acute care facility with the greatest overall savings per adjusted patient day.
Pharmacy Utilization Implementation Award recognizes the facility with the highest percentage of savings through the Medication Evaluation Program.
Ethan "Jethro" Stansbury Memorial Award recognizes the member who best displays the spirit of Yankee Alliance - working together with Yankee colleagues, sharing information and best practices for the greater good while attaining maximum value for their institution.

Marit Davies Memorial Award recognizes the member who has exhibited innovative thinking, a passion for implementation, and leadership in the pursuit of healthcare supply chain excellence.

Collaborative Member Savings Award recognizes the Collaborative Member with the highest savings per adjusted patient day.
Social Media Engagement Award recognizes the member who has engaged most with our social media platforms.
Presented to: Philip Oliveira, Southcoast Health
Clinical Excellence Award recognizes an influential clinician who convincingly leads their organization to adopt evidence-based practices while driving supply chain savings. This individual substantively contributes to the prompt execution of clinical initiatives and demonstrates a keen ability to galvanize physician engagement, resulting in exceptional outcomes and reduced costs.

Member Success of the Year Award recognizes the Member Success Poster Presentation with the most member votes at the Annual Conference's Member Success Fair.
